【活動報告】多文化交流を生み出す「テーブルペインティング」ワークショップを実施

2025年1月24日（土）、東広島イノベーションラボミライノ⁺にて、体験型アートワークショップ「テーブルペインティング」を開催しました。
国籍や年齢の異なる参加者が、対話を重ねながら一つの作品を完成させることで、自然な交流が生まれる場となりました。
多様な人が集い、表現を通してつながる時間
2025年1月24日（土）13:00〜15:00、東広島イノベーションラボミライノ⁺（東広島市西条岡町10-10）にて、「テーブルペインティング」ワークショップを開催しました。
本イベントは、東広島市共創型起業プログラム「円陣」に採択された事業の一環として実施しました。
当日は約20名が参加し、国籍や年齢もさまざまな方々が集まりました。
会場は終始にぎやかな雰囲気で、初対面同士であっても自然と会話が生まれ、対話を通じた交流が広がっていく様子が印象的でした。
チームで描き、一つの作品をつくり上げる
制作は3台のテーブルをチームごとに担当し、まずは下書きからスタートしました。
各自が割り当てられたスペースに自由にペインティングを行い、その後、全体のバランスを確認しながら、テーブル一台ごとに一つの作品として仕上げていきました。
最後には、参加者全員がテーブルにサインを入れ、共同制作ならではの一体感のある作品が完成しました。
一人ひとりの表現が重なり合い、チームごとに個性の異なるテーブルが生まれました。
完成した作品が、次の場へとつながっていく
完成したテーブルは、今後ハネケが三原市佐木島で展開予定の体験拠点にて、実際に活用していく予定です。
今回のワークショップを通じて、創作活動が言語や文化の違いを越え、人と人とをつなぐコミュニケーションのきっかけになることを、改めて実感する機会となりました。
これからに向けて
今後は、東広島市内にとどまらず、周辺自治体も巻き込みながら、海外の方と地域の方々が継続的に交流できる仕組みづくりを進めていきます。
アートを通じた出会いや対話の場を、これからも地域にひらいていきたいと考えています。
[Table Painting Workshop Report]

On Saturday, January 24, 2025, we held a hands-on art workshop called “Table Painting” at Higashihiroshima Innovation Lab Miraino⁺.
Participants of various ages and nationalities came together to create artworks through conversation and collaboration, naturally forming meaningful connections.
A space where diversity meets creative expression
The workshop took place from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Higashihiroshima Innovation Lab Miraino⁺, located in Saijo, Higashihiroshima City.
This event was held as part of a project selected for the Higashihiroshima City co-creation entrepreneurship program “Enjin.”
Approximately 20 participants joined the event, bringing together people from different cultural and generational backgrounds.
Throughout the session, the venue was filled with lively energy, and conversations flowed naturally even among participants meeting for the first time.
Creating together as a team
Participants worked in teams, each responsible for one of three tables.
The process began with sketching ideas, followed by painting individual sections freely.
Afterward, the teams adjusted colors and designs while considering the overall balance, completing each table as a single collaborative artwork.
At the end of the workshop, all participants signed the tables.
This final step added a strong sense of unity, highlighting the unique character of each team’s creation.
From a workshop to the next stage
The completed tables will be used at a future experiential space that Hanneke plans to develop on Sagishima Island in Mihara City.
Through this workshop, we were once again reminded that creative activities can transcend language and cultural differences, serving as a powerful catalyst for communication.
Looking ahead
Moving forward, we aim to expand these initiatives beyond Higashihiroshima, collaborating with neighboring municipalities to create ongoing opportunities for exchange between international and local communities.
We will continue to open spaces where people can connect, learn, and communicate through art.
